Review Submitted May 17, 2011 Again awesome night at Paddy's. Band was rocking, dancefloor full and great drinks flowing. Staff are amazing, the sound system in this room is A1.Both when the early solo guys play at the front or the headline bands down the back. Who knew there was still great live 7 nights per week live music barswithout pokies left in Australia. A true Aussie party music bar. Review Submitted Mar 10, 2010 I can see there are some good comments about that pub...dont know why! Paddy Shenanigans pub in Airlie Beach is by far one of the biggest shitholes I have ever put my foot in. Only plus was the decent band they had (which was merely decent compared to the cast in all the rest of the pubs in Airlie Beach). The barmen were arrogant like crazy, the doormen threw people out randomly. I have never experienced anything like it. Perfectly sober people (and only males) were being kicked out of the joint for doing absolutely nothing, besides standing in the bar!
I have always had doubt as to whether or not God exists, but now I know that he is in fact a doorman at Paddy Shenanigans in Airlie Beach, and his words (stupid as they may be depending on the mood) are the law. It was the longest 10 minutes ever, before i got my beer, capped it and got the hell out of there! In short, stay away, and go spend your money elsewhere! - Jacob, Denmark
